First is, there is no outside pockets for misc items like small flashlight, Bino’s, wallet, cigs, keys, etc. I bought a couple cheap mole bags to add to outside for them. Otherwise you got 2 big compartment inside to dig thru for small items. The other issue is that the strap that attaches both shoulder straps together so they don’t slide off the shoulder is too hig for me. It is up close to my adam’s apple and feals like its chocking me after a little while. I can fix it no problem with a seam ripper and my heavy duty sewing machine. The strap to carry a gun in back is pretty neat and functional. I was able to put my crossbow in there for walking-in in the dark, leavin my hands free. I have only hunted with it once and had it loaded down pretty heavy. A change of clothes, 4 knives, scent spray socks, jacket, crossbow, and a folding camp seat hanging from the back. It might be possible I had the straps adjusted wrong and caused the bag to ride high in front? I think its a good bag especially for the money. I would buy again. And I will try more adjustments before resewing cross strap. I amd 6’4″ tall by the way.
