“I purchased my hammock in July of 2021. It did have an odor I could not tolerate. The seller told me it could be washed so I washed it. The odor was gone completely. I’m a bit OCD and the tassels were quite tangled but I fixed that. I have used this for 2 years. It is still like new. It is comfortable, it is beautiful, and it has held up very well. I have two places that I use it. One is on my covered porch, diagonally between two posts and one is out on a swing set frame in the backyard. When I am done with it I always bring it inside. I use heavy duty Carabiner clips and clip them in and out of heavy duty eye bolts. It is so simple to take in the house and bring back out. In the instructions they tell you not to leave it out in the weather. It is made of material and cotton and of course it will degrade over time outside. Mine is still like brand new and it has been used countless times. It’s one of the best things I’ve purchased. The seller was wonderful. You will not regret this purchase.”

“Update:Seven years on, still great! A little tattered but hammock is strong! Update: Five years on, still love the hammock. I’ve left this out in the sun and rain too much but it’s still going strong. Left a little bag of food in the pocket and the raccoons chewed it through. I have s couple holes even but they aren’t growing. The fabric is getting softer with time. Still five stars! I’ll admit that coming from a circa 1960 heavy single navy hammock, it was a bit of a leap getting into a parachute nylon triple, but the learning curve was fast. After a few adjustments, I never wanted to get out. Hammock Bliss sells a hammock that features all rope ends instead of carabineers or d rings on the theory that they feel you should be free of the need to pack along hanging hardware and rope. Good idea! They also make no qualms about the activities a person could get up to in this hammock noting that there is plenty of room and that the hammock is machine washable. If anything, I’d say the hammock is a little big for just one person because the extra fabric has a tendency to flop over on the occupant but I’m going to blame this on me and not the hammock. I have some tweaking to do in regards to the way I spread out in the thing… Pros: Light weight ready to hang Washable Even the colors are relaxing Extra size great for company Extra size great for ‘company’ Cons: Extra fabric a challenge when alone in the Hammock Nylon more susceptible to cool breezes than heavier fabrics.”

“I have both the single, and triple hammock bliss- I got them after I used a friends when we were at surf camp– and I fell in love- and I have brought them both with me on multiple backpacking adventures. I LOVE that they leave no trace of where I have camped overnight, and love the light weight, and extra space in my backpack from not having to bring a tent/groundcover with me! I do bring a sleeping pad if I am going to the Sierras– I would recommend using a sleeping pad for weather that will drop below 50 degrees. If it is hot out, there is no better way to stay cool than sleeping in the hammock. It shows no signs of wear, and I’ve been using it heavily for the past two years. I also use it with the hammock bliss tree straps, which I cannot say enough good things about. I was even able to finagle the straps to fit around a giant Sequoia (though if I go back to that park, I am going to invest in the extra-long tree straps!) I am 6 feet tall, and I fit in this hammock, with two of my friends who are 6’5″ each (and weigh around 250 each). I am very impressed by the durability! I recommend hanging this hammock TIGHT it should look completely parallel to the ground (and fairly high of the ground) before you get in it, because it has a lot of slack in the fabric. Most people who have ever used my hammock, end up buying one of their own. It speaks for itself.”

“This Hammock chair is well built. We bought a blue version of this exact same chair about 2 years ago, and last year a beige. They are outdoor and holding up beautifully. I wish there were more colors. The cross bar is so sturdy and fully welded where the loops hangs on the bar. We bought a few other brands that the cross bar pieces literally bent, from 1 use. These have had teenagers hanging on the bar doing flips, couples, and little kids swinging for hours.”
