While there were more refinements possible these bags are serviceable, well designed, and a super-bargain. Seams are precise and done with care, material light but strong, box bottom included as is a cord lock (often omitted by others). Sizes cover a large useful range an color key are useful. It is the small things like this that make a camping trip a success.”

I only needed one but this collection of 5 stuff sacks cost about the same as only 1 would at the local Sporting Goods Rip-Off Store, where all of the "manager-trainees" are working to share in the profits.-Good quality stuff sacks with an integrated dust flap for holding all of your items including sleeping bags, small tents, tarps and what have you. I don't think it's possible to get by without at least some of these. They're the items that aren't on the list until you realize they're basic-basic and the list should begin with these! Frelaxy stuff sacks are better than most with quality construction and heavy seams that won't be blowing out, yet they weigh almost nothing and collapse into pocket-sized packages (which is the other meaning for stuff sacks.)”

Customer Review: “These bags are an affordable option than some of the other ultra light bags out there, but they are definitely not waterproof. I recently took these on a long distance thru-hike and sadly these did not hold up well after a short period of rain. I used them to contain my food/odor items and suspended them overnight on a bear cable. In the morning, there was several inches of rain inside the bag, despite the bag being tightly sealed overnight. I had to empty the contents and dry out the bag in the morning…needless to say, this is not a ‘dry bag’ and was a slopping wet bag that I had to try to dry out on the trail. The bags are convenient to hang and the roll tops are nice, but don’t expect these bags to keep your stuff dry at all.”

I was able to get about a week’s worth of clothing into this stuff sack and it compressed it down very small to the point that me and my partner were each able to get clothing in one suitcase.This is not waterproof so you do have to be careful about that but the quality is good and I’m able to really cinch down the sack and not fear ripping the material. And as best as I can tell, it does not loosen over time, which is a big plus.Overall, it’s a good value for what it does and I’d definitely buy it again.”

Customer Review: “I have only tried it out at home so far so can’t speak to the durability. XL fits my old 3.5lb fill mummy bag easily. A smaller size would probably have been fine as well, but quick and easy is more important to me than size. It was easy to compress the bag down nicely. The seams did not look stressed when I did this.It would have been even better if the two straps with buckles also had the compression strap hardware so they could be quickly lengthened when you are releasing it. This would make it faster to be ready to use it again. It’s only a small inconvenience though to have to feed the straps back through to lengthen them.I won’t use it very often, but will update this review if it doesn’t seem to be holding up to use.”
