It is a plastic wine cork that is supposed to pump all of the air out of the bottle, seal the bottle and let you adjust it so you know when you opened the wine. It might do some of these things but at my house a bottle of wine seldom lasts for more than a day or three. I never was able to get the date function to work and being aware of the date is kind of the point of using it.So, we are slowly imbibing, savoring it through day five. Everything was fine through day three. While my palate is far from educated, the taste began to change on day four and has continued a downhill slide through day five. We’ll finish the bottle in a recipe of shrimp scampi by tomorrow.So, it works, up to a point. It seems to work as wine cork and has remained sealed after tasting and resealing daily.
